What data we process

This website has no forms or user accounts. We only process the data you send us when you contact us by email or WhatsApp: your name, your contact details and whatever you tell us about your enquiry or project.

In addition, the server keeps a technical log of each visit (IP address, date and time, requested page and browser) to protect the site and diagnose errors.

Why we use it and on what legal basis

• To answer your enquiry and prepare a quote. Legal basis: your consent when you contact us and steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (art. 6.1.a and 6.1.b GDPR).
• To provide and invoice the service you hire. Legal basis: performance of the contract and compliance with legal obligations (art. 6.1.b and 6.1.c GDPR).
• Server technical logs. Legal basis: legitimate interest in keeping the site secure against abuse and attacks (art. 6.1.f GDPR).

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that don't lead to a job: up to 12 months from the last contact.
• Clients: for as long as the relationship lasts and then for the periods required by tax and commercial law.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or pass on your data. Only the following have access to it:

• The email provider for hola@biteforge.me, as data processor: [PENDING: email provider].
• WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to contact us that way. WhatsApp processes that data under its own privacy policy and may transfer it outside the European Economic Area.
• Public authorities, where required by law.

The website is hosted on the owner's own servers in Spain, with no external hosting providers.

Cookies

This website uses no cookies, analytics or advertising, and stores nothing in your browser. Fonts and all other resources are served from our own server, with no third-party connections. That's why you won't see a cookie banner.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction or deletion of your data, object to its processing, ask for its restriction or portability, and withdraw your consent at any time. Email hola@biteforge.me stating which right you want to exercise; we will reply within one month at the latest.

If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency at aepd.es.
